Billing Hours - Time Tracking App Reviews

I know nobody using apps on his or her iphone for work. Its way to small and inpractical. Such an app should be for Ipad in my and my friends opinion. Can not really test it, when it looks awefull, sorry. Give me an Ipad version and Ill weite a better review.

Might be good, but needs attention to make it useable. Sorely needs the ability to draw contact information from the iPhone contacts. No one wants to have to enter all that information for every client into this app by hand, especially when all that contact info is already on the phone. Just import from iphone contacts please. Also needs the ability to preview the invoice in the app without having to email or print it. Presently youd have to email it to yourself, open it there, check it, and then return to the app if it requires any editing. Hopefully updates will add these essential features. As it stands, unfortunately its just not useable (unless perhaps you only need to do one or two single invoices, otherwise just too much work). Thanks for the effort devs. Youre on the right track, just needs some tweaks.

Hi Just downloaded this and am still familiarizing myself with the app. Already seeing where this wont work for me. Some simple adds would help. I have a major client where i do some work by the hour and some work on a flat rate/unit basis. Further some jobs are billed at different hourly rates. I want to be able to put all of this on one invoice but that does not appear possible with this app. There needs to be much more flexibility about how to enter time and different rates within a client including flat rate jobs. Also the time clock feature may well be useful but I would prefer to enter a specific number of hours rather than track literal time. I might work four hours on a project but this could be spread over 8 or more hours in a day. It is not necessary to track by the second - too much of a nuisance. I also cant see where I tell the app the tax rate I need to apply. I live in canada and need to apply GST or HST depending on where I do the work. As it goes the app does not seem very sensitive to geography. Maybe it is there - I just have not found it yet Please continue to develop this app - it has promise - but I wont likely use it as is

I love the look and feel of this app for tracking hours. I do casual work, and the option to choose different time increments is great. Also love the filter for paid vs invoices items. For simple bookkeeping, I am very pleased that I can email an auto-created invoice that has room for notes. A suggestion for a future update is to make the iPad and iPhone apps sync up; that would be so handy, and itd be worth a small fee. I look forward to updates! Thanks for this free app!! I have benefited greatly from this app. Thanks. Its exactly what I was looking for.

I work in private practice and find this app very helpful in tracking billable (client contact) hours. The only thing I would like changed is the following: 1. To be able to set the app to track billable time by the hour (for example, 1 hour, rather than entering the start and end time). 2. To be able to move closed clients to a different area of the app (so current clients are readily available on the client page and invoice page). 3. To allow more options for viewing total billable hours. For example, to view billing for different months, rather than filtering to either all or the current month. 4. To display both total hours billed and total income billed for all clients during a specific billing period or month (rather than total hours/amount billed for each individual client) would also be very helpful. Otherwise this app has been perfect for my purposes and I would highly recommend it.

It would be useful to set an alarm reminding to eventually change the project... I tried it today and forgot to stop the clock!

I really like what I see. As a new app this is great. Itll allow me to get rid of those handwritten notes. Just needs export to Dropbox and excel spreadsheets. And itll be perfect.

This app easily allows my teenage sons to create invoices for their lawn care service. The invoice is very professional looking and a breeze to create. Additionally, app support was quick and effective (within 30 minutes!) when I contacted them about a question. Highly recommend this app!

No autocomplete except user shortcuts. No back/next navigation in text fields; you have to select a text field, type fully with no spellcheck; click Done, which does not auto advance so you have to scroll to select the next field. No access to contacts so you have to switch back and forth between apps unless you have every field memorized. Bad rubber band action not only hides text fields at the bottom, but makes them difficult to select; e.g. The notes field in projects is nearly impossible to see let alone click on. Very diddly fiddley, tedious and too time consuming to use. Youd have to bill a new client a minimum of 15 minutes just to add them, and another 30 to enter multiple items and tasks as a contractor. Terrible, even for a first effort.

Great app helps with freelance design to track hours and pay.

Theres no way to import fields from contacts. After playing with the app a few minutes I realized that every single client I have goes into my contacts app first. I dont see myself entering clients info into this app before anything else. The app has a lot of potential and it would be my go to app for billing if i could import fields from my contacts app.

Ive tried around a dozen different hourly billing/invoice apps and this is the best Ive seen yet. Its very easy to use, and unlike other developers for billing apps, this developer is looking forward to adding user requested features. Your money is well spent getting this app
